Trapped in Stained Glass II

In colors vibrant, a story untold,

A portrait of beauty, a dream to behold.

Upon the canvas of stained glass she lies,

A damsel of splendor with emerald eyes.

A mosaic of hues, the sun's warm embrace,

Bestows on her visage a luminous grace.

The tender caress of a silken breeze,

Whispers her name through the rustling leaves.

Trapped in her prison, she yearns to be free,

A radiant spirit who longs to flee.

The window her cage, her soul confined,

Aching to leave the glass walls behind.

Her auburn locks like a fiery cascade,

The contours of her form in light portrayed.

In her eyes the sadness of a caged dove,

Seeking solace and the freedom to love.

As daylight wanes, the shadows ascend,

Her visage in twilight begins to blend.

The tenebrous veil of night draws near,

As stars awaken, her hope reappears.

Moonlight's touch, a celestial kiss,

Bathes her in silver, a moment of bliss.

Yet as the dawn returns, she's captive once more,

In her glassy prison, her heart left sore.

One day, perchance, her soul will transcend,

The gossamer bonds that keep her penned.

A beautiful young woman trapped in the glow,

Of a stained glass window, forever to show.]
