Trapped in Stained Glass IV

In a dim-lit corner, there lies concealed,

A tale of longing, a heartache revealed.

A stained glass portrait, a beauty confined,

An aching confession, through colors defined.

With trembling hands, I pen this verse,

In confession of love, a bittersweet curse.

The image of her etched in my soul,

A beautiful young woman I long to console.

In sorrow, I've watched her throughout the years,

Her emerald eyes reflecting my fears.

Her visage a beacon of love and despair,

A testament to the secrets we share.

As the sun descends and the shadows advance,

Her form in the twilight, a mournful dance.

I yearn to free her, to shatter her chains,

But the weight of my guilt, a burden remains.

In moments of solitude, I whisper her name,

The ghost of her touch, an exquisite flame.

My heart belongs to the girl in the glass,

Yet the truth remains, I'm tethered to my past.

In the silence of night, my tears descend,

For the love that we share, the pain we amend.

We're bound by the window, the colors that cage,

A confession of love, an eternal stage.

For I am the artist who painted her there,

Her beauty immortalized, forever to wear.

A confession in glass, a penance, my sin,

A testament to love, forever to begin.

A beautiful young woman, her fate now entwined,

In the stained glass window, our hearts now confined.

My confession in colors, the truth there displayed,

The depth of our love, a secret portrayed.
